Upcoming events

Alright everyone, the details I promised you all!  The ministry I have been working on, is actually a magazine for young ladies of all ages.  This magazine encourages them in modesty, purity, and in their walk with the Lord.  We will be sending out a sample issue hopefully very soon!  Can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for this ministry!  Below I've listed some of the things that will be happening here on my blog!

  1. I will be hosting photography contests, the first one starts April 1 and ends April 10.  If you wish to enter this contest please leave a comment and let me know.  Then send me an email with your picture attached, daloalsy@gmail.com.  Pictures with inappropriate content will not be allowed!  Then the winner of the photo contest will have their picture on the cover of the next issue!
  2. Do you all remember I told you about how I want to start interviewing young ladies.  Well those are going to start very soon!
  3. I have actually changed the name of Beautiful and Feminine to Unfading Beauty, because of an article in the magazine that is similar to this challenge!  Unfading Beauty will be starting April 12 and will end 19.
I'm soooo excited for all of the upcoming events to take place!!

Blessings in Him,

My life lately...

has been a little busy! But I have finally found a little time to post about what I've been up to lately :)

We visited my dad's family and went to the Magic Time Machine!
(left to right: Jesse, Dad, Mom, Sydney, Me, Mike, Grandma, and Grandpa)

My mom caught this picture of Mike, he was quite surprised.

Early last month I had the privilege to be part of the the Governor's inauguration with a friend of mine.

My friend Sam. This was the only picture I could get of her, so I had to sneak her picture.

The capitol building, I had to hurry when I was taking this picture, because I had to hand everyone who came through the line, a plate. Sam and I were plate feeders.

I also participated in the Journey 24/7 Quiz and AWANA Games with my friends. It was A LOT OF FUN and stressful, but it was worth all the studying that took place. This is the back of the T-shirt I bought, the front isn't at cool though. I would have taken more pics of the quiz and AWANA games, but I left my camera on in the van so the battery was dead!

IT was great to have a little blogging break, but I missed blogging too. I'll try to post more, but I can't promise anything REAL SOON, because we are in the process of moving to a bigger house :) We are so excited!!!!

Ali

Our day yesterday

Yesterday Sydney and I went to the AWANA Fest our church put together, and I took A LOT of pics. Thought you might them!

This is "Tiny" the clown (he really isn't that tiny though :D)

This little guy is sooo cute, he is actually a Cubbie in our AWANA program! He had been digging in the mud. It has been raining a WHOLE LOT this month ~ Praise God!

My friend Ilana was in charge of the face painting booth. She did all the leaders and the LIT's (leader in training) face paint :D Ilana is actually getting her face painted in the picture

Put-Put Golf ~ my favorite :)

My friend Stitch the Clown ~ Stitch has a wonderful sense of humor and a great personality!

The sound booth operators

The controls (I LOVED the sound booth, I may do the sound booth next time :D)

And last but not least, the ladies who made our fun day possible :D

*Hope y'all have a great week*
