We are now back to one dog! Zippy just didn't work out, she wouldn't stop chewing on stuff, she wasn't learning that going potty in the house is not acceptable, and since we live in a rental, we thought it was better off that we didn't keep her (our landlord seems happier).
But she left with her cast off, but her departure broke Sydney's poor heart.

Pictures of our two dogs
I told you that I would post pictures of Sandy and Zippy, I hope you enjoy looking at them.
I would have posted a picture of Alex, but he was to hyper, and we don't have him anymore, but that's a whole entire post of it's own!

Please pray ~ two more dogs!
I've never blogged about two things at once, so I thought I better give it a try. Just yesterday we had two mishaps happen in our family.
We have befriended the most adorable dog, and yesterday she was hit by a car. She made it, but her leg is definitely broken, and her owners don't care about her. After we get her leg fixed she will be part of our family. Please pray that she wont have to be put to sleep.
Thank you for keeping Zippy (the dog) in your prayers. Your prayers mean a whole lot!
We have opened our home to yet another dog, named Alex. He wasn't hit by a car, we actually found him on Craig's List for FREE! I like to call him "Slobber Monster" just as a nickname.
I am going to try to post pictures of our three dogs Sandy (our first dog), Zippy, and Alex next Saturday when Zippy's leg is fixed, hopefully!

Heavenbound?
Do you deserve to go to Heaven? Regardless of what your answer might be - take this short quiz ~ you might be surprised.
Have you ever stolen? Even if it was something really tiny? Then by God's standard that makes you a thief.
Have you ever killed anyone? Of course not, you'd be thrown in jail right? But according to the Bible, if you have ever hated anyone, you have already committed murder.
Have you ever committed adultery? According to God, if you so much as look at a boy with the wrong intent ~ you have committed adultery.
So by your own admission [and God's standards] your a lying, murdering, thieving, adulterer.
Welcome to the family! Yes, I am guilty of all these things too. You see, none of us are perfect, and we all sin.
Romans 3:23 says "For all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God."
Therefore none of us deserve to go Heaven. It's when we decide to follow Christ and live our life for Him that our name is written in the Lambs Book of Life. God sent His son to be born of a virgin, to be persecuted for doing His father's business, and to die on the cross for all our sins.
John 14:6 Jesus said... “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
If you want to become part of God's Army, then you can say this prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I ask you to come into my heart. Please forgive me of all the sins I've committed against you. I have been walking in darkness, but I want to be part of Your army, in the Light. Thank you for coming into my heart, and thank you for Your forgiveness. I am ready to fight all the Giants that come in my way!
In Your precious Holy name I pray~ Amen.

Happy Birthday Mom!
Just yesterday was my mom's birthday and we decided to make her day a special one.
Our day started out by my dad going to the store and getting my mom some flowers. Not only did he get my mom flowers, but he also took the day off of work just for my mom, and made breakfast. My mom LOVES thrifting (she is the ULTIMATE thrifter), so he found 10 or 15 different thrift stores for all of us to go to. We were gone from 10:00 in the morning until 10:00 last night.
Then the night ended by going to Fazoli's for dinner (Birthday girl's choice). We all enjoyed making the day special for our Mama Hen.
Even though my mom had to walk into some NASTY thrift stores, she still enjoyed her birthday!!
I love you mom, I'm glad that you enjoyed your Birthday week!!
In Christ,
Alisha

Good News...
We have figured out how to get the, much over-do, official "Girls for God" online and I am so excited about it. Boy technology sure can be difficult! It still has a couple VERY little bugs, but after a whole lot of work it should be going live soon! I know, I've said that before, but I mean it this time -or at least I think I do :o) It just seems every time we think it's ready - something else happens.

To The Loving Mr. P
This post is in loving memory of the dog below; the sweetest dog in the world! His name was Peanut, but we all called him Mr. P. He was one of my grandma & grandpa’s four dogs, but he was by far the sweetest one of the bunch. He would climb up on a chair and sit with you, you could always count on him to bring out a shoe when he was excited, and when it was dinner time he would go get his food bowl to let you know he was hungry. He was just the most loving dog you could ever meet.

We didn’t know this, but sweet Mr. P was full of cancer. The vet told my grandparents that Mr. P had, at least, one huge tumor the size of a cantaloupe growing inside of him. His life would never be the same. They could have spent a bunch of money for treatments, but it would have only helped him to live an extra month or two. Yesterday, Mr. P's loving owners made a decision to put him out of his misery; they had to put Peanut to sleep. This had to be very hard for them. He will be missed a great deal, not only be his owners, but also by his owners grand-daughter's. However, Mr. P's spirit will be with us always.
In Christ,
Alisha
