Do you remember when I told you all that Amber was pregnant? Are you all wondering if it's a boy or a girl?
On July 2, 2011 Brenden Hal will make his appearance into our family. We all are VERY excited about the thought of having little Brenden being apart of our family.
Prayer requests:
* Amber will continue to have a healthy pregnancy
*Brenden will be VERY healthy

Christ's Valentine Petition
Would you like to be committed to being Christ's valentine? Well then nows your chance, because Uniquely Fashioned for His Glory has started a petition.
The main goal is to see how many signiatures Moriah can get in order to see how many young ladies are willing to remain faithful to Christ... their Valentine, until their Prince Charming comes.
For more info about this petition check out the link in the beginning of this post.
Hugs from Texas,
Ali

My life lately...
has been a little busy! But I have finally found a little time to post about what I've been up to lately :)
We visited my dad's family and went to the Magic Time Machine!
(left to right: Jesse, Dad, Mom, Sydney, Me, Mike, Grandma, and Grandpa)
My mom caught this picture of Mike, he was quite surprised.
Early last month I had the privilege to be part of the the Governor's inauguration with a friend of mine.
My friend Sam. This was the only picture I could get of her, so I had to sneak her picture.
The capitol building, I had to hurry when I was taking this picture, because I had to hand everyone who came through the line, a plate. Sam and I were plate feeders.
I also participated in the Journey 24/7 Quiz and AWANA Games with my friends. It was A LOT OF FUN and stressful, but it was worth all the studying that took place. This is the back of the T-shirt I bought, the front isn't at cool though. I would have taken more pics of the quiz and AWANA games, but I left my camera on in the van so the battery was dead!
IT was great to have a little blogging break, but I missed blogging too. I'll try to post more, but I can't promise anything REAL SOON, because we are in the process of moving to a bigger house :) We are so excited!!!!
Hugs from Texas,
Ali

Photo shoot fun
About 3 days ago, Sydney and I had a whole lot of sister fun. I put make-up on her, did her hair in the only hairstyle I can do with her hair...until it's long again. Then she put on the dress that Amber sent her (she LOVES that dress), then I took a few pictures with our mom's camera. I thought I'd share a few of the pictures with you, hope you enjoy them.
I think she took it too seriously :)
This is my absolute FAVORITE!!
Sydney was so excited that she was able to wear make-ups (she basically wears it to the Daddy/Daughter dance which is once a year).
*I hope you all have a blessed weekend!*

Psalm 26
Vindicate me, O Lord, for I have led a blameless life; I have trusted in the Lord without wavering. Test me, O Lord, and try me, examine my heart and my mind; for your love is ever before me, and I walk continually in your truth. I do not sit with deceitful men, nor do I consort with hypocrites; I abhor the assembly of evildoers and refuse to sit with the wicked. I wash my hands in innocence, and go about your altar, O Lord, proclaiming aloud your praise and telling of all your wonderful deeds. I love the house where you live, O Lord, the place where your glory dwells. Do not take away my soul along with sinners, my life with bloodthirsty men, in whose hands are wicked schemes, whose right hands are full of bribes. But I lead a blameless life; redeem me and be merciful to me. My feet stand on level ground; in the great assembly I will praise the Lord.

My New Year Journey
Happy 2011 everyone! I'm so excited about this year, there are a lot of things that will be happening. Like my sweet 16 in April, Amber's baby shower, my niece/nephew who will be born late June/early July, other family birthdays, etc. But the most thing that I'm excited about is my New Year resolution. Which is...femininity and homemaking!
For femininty I will be hosting The Beautiful and Feminine Challenge is a two week challenge, I haven't thought about all the details. More details coming soon!
For homemaking there will be a 12 week cooking challenge where everyone who enters will cook a meal for either breakfast, lunch, or dinner. More details coming soon! I will also be doing interviews called Daughters of the King. Where I will be interviewing young ladies and posting the interviews on my blog.
Again I'm so excited for this new year!
Happy New Year!!!!!
May God bless you always!
Alisha
