The Hockey Game :D

As I told you all in one of my posts we had plans to go see a hockey game. Well we went...and had a great time (well...at least I did)! And as promised I did take pictures...a lot of pictures. So here you go and ENJOY!

Look who was my hockey spectator for the first few minutes of the game. The one the only...IZZY! (I absolutely love her! BTW: notice anything in my hair. Those are my feathers!)

OK...Texas Stars is on the left...and Milwaukee is on the right...and the referee is in the middle (sort of). We all had a great time!

...so did Izzy...she loved to watch the guys push each other around on the ice (so did her 16 year old sister :D)

This just gives you an idea on how many people actually came to the game. I wanna say it was like 5,923 (or something like that)!

What we did today

Today was a long day for us...the day began with a visit to the psychiatrist, then we went to a family retreat.  Here are pictures from our day...hope you enjoy them :D

 At the psychiatric hospital they had a bunch of rose bushes.  So since I had nothing else to do I thought I'd get shoot some pics (this is only one :D).

 I love taking pictures of flowers...but this one is my favorite pictures.

 The family retreat was held at a Christmas Tree farm.  They had a lot of animals from ducks to horses!

Here are two baby goats that I fell in love with.

 Sydney and Mari posed for a picture at the end of a LONG line of Easter baskets.

 This is who I had charge over today :D  We had a great time finding Easter eggs together!  This was after she had found all ten.

OK...this is my favorite picture of a horse.  It's almost like he did this on purpose!

This Wednesday we will be going to the hockey playoffs, so I'll be posting pictures about that too!

OK...I know there aren't any pictures of my new hair-do, but there are pictures of what's been happening in our family lately :D Don't worry I'll get the hair pictures on here SOON!! But for now...ENJOY :D

These are the flowers my dad bought for me

My friends and I had to make banana splits with our FEET!!

My friend Kassi was in control of the ice cream

Even though Kassi's feet was in the ice cream container...that didn't stop HUNGRY teenagers :D But the three of us LOADED the ice cream with pecans, chocolate syrup, and whipped cream...YUMMY! (Far left to far right: Hanna, me, Kassi)

Since Kassi, Hanna, and I were the 1st place winners we decorated our feet. Hanna's is on the far left, mine is in the middle, and Kassi's is on the far right.

I had the BEST 16th birthday EVER! We had some friends over and the we all went to the park in our neighborhood...well all except our parents :D

We had dinner with my dad's aunt and uncle who live in England. For dinner we took them to the Magic Time Machine in San Antonio.

This is what our waitress (who happened to be Dora the Explorer) did because it was my birthday (well that night my birthday was 3 days away).

Look what happened to Sydney the day after my birthday! She wiped out pretty bad on her scooter and mildly fractured her growth plate.

Our family is growing AGAIN!

This is Mari, she is an absolute cuite and is VERY fun to be around!

Plus VERY, VERY active

 This is Isabella (Izzy) she is very strong willed, but is an absolute cutie as well (unless she wakes up on the wrong side of the crib!).

She loves to say "uh-oh"!  I caught her saying it after she dropped her rubber duck.

The Lord apparently needs us to continue with foster care so we are now a family of six!  We seriously thought we were done, but God turned the table on us (I just love it when He does that!).

 OK I admit this WAS POSED, but who cares?  It turned out pretty cool!

 Sydney was trying to get off the tire swing, but was stuck...I just love her face :D

 She's still trying to get off...she didn't even ask for help!  She has such an independent personality

 Toby loves getting his face scratched...he is an absolutely cutie!

Exciting Family News

Do you remember when I told you all that Amber was pregnant?  Are you all wondering if it's a boy or a girl?

On July 2, 2011 Brenden Hal will make his appearance into our family.  We all are VERY excited about the thought of having little Brenden being apart of our family.

Photo shoot fun

About 3 days ago, Sydney and I had a whole lot of sister fun.  I put make-up on her, did her hair in the only hairstyle I can do with her hair...until it's long again.  Then she put on the dress that Amber sent her (she LOVES that dress), then I took a few pictures with our mom's camera.  I thought I'd share a few of the pictures with you, hope you enjoy them.

 Sydney loved the fact that she was able to pretend to be a super model!

I think she took it too seriously :)

 This is my absolute FAVORITE!! 

 Sydney was so excited that she was able to wear make-ups (she basically wears it to the Daddy/Daughter dance which is once a year).
