More pictures {heeheehee}

I know I've post A LOT of pictures, but I got a new camera from my grandma, so I've been playing around with it :D You know how it is...you get a new camera and it becomes your new best friend. OK...well maybe only for me. Anyhoo...enjoy all these pictures [grin]

Sydney has become a BeAuTiFuL young lady of the Lord!

Mari loves to be around Sydney 24/7!

Sydney loves to smell the Lord's beautiful handy-work (OK I admit this picture was posed...but it turned out descent).

Toby loves God's handy-work too...he had just caught the poor butterfly. Luckily I was able to save his "captive" (praise God)!

I love the face she's making in this picture!

Sydney takes picture taking very seriously!

I told her to act goofy...oh the faces 5 year-olds can make at a camera

I'm not sure if I like this picture...I think I do. Let me know what you think
Notice anything cool about this shot...(hint: look inside my ring) Tell me what you see

We were at a pizza place and I was bored. Now luckily I had my camera, a clean napkin, and a pen. Those three can create a result like this picture :D

This picture is for you all...notice anything in my hair? I'll try to get better pictures up on here soon, but this will have to do for now.

*Have a great Wednesday night!*

Our family is growing AGAIN!

This is Mari, she is an absolute cuite and is VERY fun to be around!

Plus VERY, VERY active

This is Isabella (Izzy) she is very strong willed, but is an absolute cutie as well (unless she wakes up on the wrong side of the crib!).

She loves to say "uh-oh"!  I caught her saying it after she dropped her rubber duck.

The Lord apparently needs us to continue with foster care so we are now a family of six!  We seriously thought we were done, but God turned the table on us (I just love it when He does that!).

*I hope you all have a fun and blessed weekend!*

A HUGE picture post

I know, I know these are a lot of pictures to look at, but I just wanted to be nice and share some of my favorite pictures of Sydney with you :D  ENJOY [grin]

This was another one of Sydney's "super-model" pictures

Dad and Sydney walking toward our picnic table at the park.  Dad just got a new job, and was thrilled to wear nice work clothes.

Sydney on the tire swing at the park, she has gotten so BEAUTIFUL :D

Sydney was trying to figure out how to get up to the monkey bars

Once she got up she was insistent on getting across to the other side

OK I admit this WAS POSED, but who cares?  It turned out pretty cool!

Sydney was trying to get off the tire swing, but was stuck...I just love her face :D
She's still trying to get off...she didn't even ask for help!  She has such an independent personality

My mom, OK I stole this idea from Sam :p  Thanks Sam for the awesome picture idea!

Toby and Sydney just LOVE each other, I just love this picture of them

Toby loves getting his face scratched...he is an absolutely cutie!

I got this picture if she is enjoying school...can't you tell she absolutely enjoying it?

AWESOME...you made it to the end of the post!

*I hope and pray that you all have a wonderful Wednesday!*

Upcoming posts:
  • my sixteenth birthday
  • Psalm 27
  • Amber and Kellyn's anniversary
plus a whole lot more!

Blessings,
Ali

Weekend Felowship

Yesterday my friend Sam and her family came to fellowship.  We all had a GREAT time playing games, and Sam and I had a WONDERFUL time making cards!  Here a few pictures from our day of fellowship:

Sam was trying to figure out how to work the die-cut (both of us didn't know how to use it)

Our finished cards:
the two I made are on the far left and far right.  The one in the middle is Sam's work of art

One of the note cards I made

The note card Sam made.  Sam is VERY, VERY creative!  She is really good at card making and at photography.

*I hope you all have a good week!*

Hugs and love,

Upcoming events

Alright everyone, the details I promised you all!  The ministry I have been working on, is actually a magazine for young ladies of all ages.  This magazine encourages them in modesty, purity, and in their walk with the Lord.  We will be sending out a sample issue hopefully very soon!  Can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for this ministry!  Below I've listed some of the things that will be happening here on my blog!

  1. I will be hosting photography contests, the first one starts April 1 and ends April 10.  If you wish to enter this contest please leave a comment and let me know.  Then send me an email with your picture attached, daloalsy@gmail.com.  Pictures with inappropriate content will not be allowed!  Then the winner of the photo contest will have their picture on the cover of the next issue!
  2. Do you all remember I told you about how I want to start interviewing young ladies.  Well those are going to start very soon!
  3. I have actually changed the name of Beautiful and Feminine to Unfading Beauty, because of an article in the magazine that is similar to this challenge!  Unfading Beauty will be starting April 12 and will end 19.
I'm soooo excited for all of the upcoming events to take place!!

Blessings in Him,

My life lately...

has been a little busy! But I have finally found a little time to post about what I've been up to lately :)

We visited my dad's family and went to the Magic Time Machine!
(left to right: Jesse, Dad, Mom, Sydney, Me, Mike, Grandma, and Grandpa)

My mom caught this picture of Mike, he was quite surprised.

Early last month I had the privilege to be part of the the Governor's inauguration with a friend of mine.

My friend Sam. This was the only picture I could get of her, so I had to sneak her picture.

The capitol building, I had to hurry when I was taking this picture, because I had to hand everyone who came through the line, a plate. Sam and I were plate feeders.

I also participated in the Journey 24/7 Quiz and AWANA Games with my friends. It was A LOT OF FUN and stressful, but it was worth all the studying that took place. This is the back of the T-shirt I bought, the front isn't at cool though. I would have taken more pics of the quiz and AWANA games, but I left my camera on in the van so the battery was dead!

IT was great to have a little blogging break, but I missed blogging too. I'll try to post more, but I can't promise anything REAL SOON, because we are in the process of moving to a bigger house :) We are so excited!!!!

Photo shoot fun

About 3 days ago, Sydney and I had a whole lot of sister fun.  I put make-up on her, did her hair in the only hairstyle I can do with her hair...until it's long again.  Then she put on the dress that Amber sent her (she LOVES that dress), then I took a few pictures with our mom's camera.  I thought I'd share a few of the pictures with you, hope you enjoy them.

Sydney loved the fact that she was able to pretend to be a super model!

I think she took it too seriously :)

 This is my absolute FAVORITE!!

Sydney was so excited that she was able to wear make-ups (she basically wears it to the Daddy/Daughter dance which is once a year).

*I hope you all have a blessed weekend!*
